Who Is VetsGiving
VetsGiving is a 501c3 non-profit organization which provides fully cooked Thanksgiving meals to veterans and their families during the Thanksgiving holiday. Vetgiving was born from humble beginnings with the delivery of a single meal to a military family 3 years ago. This single meal was the spark to a larger movement of volunteers, veterans, and families coming together to support Veterans during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Your support and donations enable Vetsgiving to provide veterans with a homecooked Thanksgiving meal and provide additional support throughout the year. Vetsgiving has been able to provide meals and support to over 100 veterans and their families over the past 3 years directly from the support of donations and volunteers within the Amarillo, DFW, and Oklahoma City communities.
As the wise quote goes, “The strongest people make time to help others, even when they are struggling themselves.” VetsGiving stands firmly by this statement, exemplifying its truth.

Our Mission
Vets Giving to Vets exists to honor and support veterans by providing fully cooked Thanksgiving meals and year-round assistance to those who have served our country. Founded by veterans and supported by volunteers, our mission is rooted in community,
compassion, and service. We believe no veteran should feel forgotten or alone, especially during the holidays. Through the power of giving, we bring veterans and their families together with the resources, respect, and care they deserve.
Our Team
To our men and women in uniform, past, present,
and future, God bless you and thank you.

Cody Earle
Founder / President
Cody is an Army veteran and is a co-founder of VetsGiving. He wanted to start this non-profit because veterans are humble individuals and do not usually reach out for help when they need it. So, he wanted to make sure they are taken care of when they least expect it. During his military career he was an EOD tech where he would disarm bombs. He served in the miliary for over 9 years. He has four children that keep him busy from coaching their team sports to running Spartans together. In his free time, he does CrossFit, mountain biking, taking care of livestock, and anything that involves outdoors.

Lynsey Earle
Founder / Treasurer
She is a proud mom of four who has spent years supporting her family through the ups and downs of military life. Along the way, she served as a FRG leader, standing beside spouses and families during deployments, training, and time stateside-- always focused on connection, care, and community. She loves being outdoors, making memories with her family, and traveling together. Her heart for serving others, especially veterans and their families, is what drives her passion for helping make the holidays a little brighter.

Shanna Borelli
Vice President
Shanna is a mother who lives in Edmond Ok with her husband and 3 big dogs. She loves fitness, home remodel projects, and anything that involves adventures. She wanted to be a part of VetsGiving because she sincerely believes that sometimes we all need a little help or extra support and no one is more deserving than a Veteran and their family.

Trulyn Deeds
Board Member
Trulyn (Tru) served on active duty in the United States Army for 6 years. Beginning his career with the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, he later went through a rigorous assessment and selection process to become a member of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), known as the Night Stalkers. As a paratrooper and non-commissioned officer, Tru completed multiple deployments to Iraq during a pivotal time in the U.S. military operations. He rose to the rank of Sergeant where he led soldiers in high temp, high risk environments. Among the many aspects of his service, one of his greatest passions was airborne operations- he couldn't believe he got paid extra to do it. Tru brings the same sense of mission, resilience, and teamwork to his role on the board of VetsGiving, continuing to serve others in meaningful ways beyond the military.

Evan Jones
Board member
Evan Jones, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist and private practice owner with a focus on fitness-forward, evidence-based care. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. An Air Force veteran, Evan brings the discipline, leadership, and performance mindset from his service into his clinical practice. Since opening his clinic in 2020, he has focused on helping people return to high-level function through individualized care, strength training, and education. Outside the clinic, Evan met his wife, Haley, shortly after moving to Amarillo in 2007, and they enjoy spending time together with their two boys, Jude and Beckett.
